White House releases report from Review Group on Intelligence Reform


Responding to several allegations of unauthorized spying by the nation’s intelligence agencies, the newly formed Review Group on Intelligence and Communications Technologies was tasked with reviewing the collection methods of the nation’s spy agencies.  As a result, the Review Group submitted a list of 46 recommendations  which according to a White House press release “represented a consensus view, particularly significant given the broad scope of the members’ expertise in counterterrorism, intelligence, oversight, privacy and civil liberties.”
