Ohio State University Attack Categories: 11-November, Terrorism Timelines: Attacks

November 28, 2016:

A car driven by Abdul Razak Ali Artan raced onto a sidewalk and struck multiple people near the corner of West 19th Avenue and College Road. Investigators say Artan also attacked pedestrians with a knife before Ohio State University Police Officer Alan Horujko shot him. — The Ohio State University

According to the US Fire Administration,

“Vehicle ramming attacks against westerners are likely to continue due to how simple it is to plan and carry them out, how successful these attacks are, and how difficult it is to predict or detect the planning process. So far, major cities are the primary targets both here and abroad due to the enticing population density, but any area where people congregate is at risk.”— EMR-ISAC Infogram
