NORAD Santa Tracker, A Poem

It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year, when NORAD tracks Santa and when he’ll be here. It’s hard to keep track of the scissors and tape. Dad’s watching the football and mom needs an escape. There’s baking and cleaning and cards to be sent, phone calls to make and old movies to rent. Just when it all starts to get a bit cray, you remember that NORAD can track Santa’s sleigh. Nearly 70 years of watching the sky, there’s no wondering when Good St. Nick will stop by.

“How old is Santa? Who makes all the toys? Are there girls on the naughty list or is it all boys?” There’s beautiful mystery in this holiday, but when it comes to “where’s Santa?” NORAD doesn’t play. They’ve got it locked tight, their amazing machine, and there’s so much more to learn and be seen! The website has fun interactive tid-bits, like a library, theater, and a place to buy gifts. Order a t-shirt, a bag or a hat, play in the arcade, just don’t forget to track! The countdown has started so go tell your friends (and Santa is watching so make any amends).

There are various ways to track his location, and after that night he will need a vacation. He’ll travel the globe at lightning speed, making quick work with reindeer at the lead. With seven different languages with which to choose from, NORAD can tell you just when he will come. Be it Facebook or Twitter, YouTube, the Gram, tracking’s made easy for your whole fam! Accept the site’s cookies and make some for Santa using the recipe you learned from your Nana. There’s also a mobile app for you to download (just keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road!) See you all there 24 of December. Set an alarm so that you will remember!

Cheers to you with your festive eggnog! Be sure to check out HSDL’s previous blogs!
