The newly established Homeland Security Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events is headquartered at the University of Southern California and is funded for three years by a $12 million grant from the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security. Faculty will focus on issues of risk analysis; emergency response and math modeling; economics, advanced computation & cybersecurity; infrastructure; and weapons of mass destruction.
