New CHDS Self-Study Course: Futures Studies for Homeland Security


The Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) has released their latest self-study course: Futures Studies for Homeland Security. This course is led by Erin Mohres, Director of the Center for Homeland Security and Infrastructure Resilience at the CNA Institute for Public Research.

The 4-hour course explores “an approach to long-term strategic planning” and contains the following 7 modules:

Module 1: Introduction

Module 2: Framing

Module 3: Scanning

Module 4: Forecasting

Module 5: Visioning

Module 6: Planning

Module 7: Acting
