The National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC) has recently developed an online toolkit to aid the U.S. research enterprise in protecting against potential threats. The Safeguarding Science Toolkit provides stakeholders with a range of resources (such as training, best practices, videos, awareness materials, policy references, etc.) to help protect their research and technology from threats of theft, misuse, or exploitation.

Currently, the toolkit provides resources related to the following areas: Research Security – Academic Resources – Cybersecurity – Operations Security – Counterintelligence – Insider Risk – Supply Chain Risk Management – Threat Information – Information Security – Personnel Security – Physical Security.
