In Focus

Each HSDL In Focus collection highlights items in the HSDL that are highly relevant to current events or foundational topics. Some take a broad, in-depth look at the historical and current analysis of a topic. Others target only the most recent items that support or contextualize events affecting our nation today. These items are hand-selected and vetted by the HSDL content team.

Out of Focus

Still important, but no longer actively “in focus,” these Out of Focus collections were developed and featured when they were timely and relevant. A collection becomes “out of focus” when there are no longer new and relevant publications to add to the body of work, or the topic is not as immediately relevant as other topics.
