Imperial College London Shares Research on COVID-19
The Medical Research Council (MRC) Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College London is an international resource and research center focused on the analysis of infectious diseases. At the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak, the MRC Center adopted a policy of “immediately sharing research findings on the developing pandemic.” As a result, the Center provides a selection of resources developed by the Imperial College COVID-19 Response Team available for public use.
The following sections offer the most recent and comprehensive overview of the pandemic:
- COVID-19 weekly forecasts provide updates on countries with active transmission including forecasts of the number of deaths in the week ahead.
- COVID-19 resources offer access to code, data, and tools, including data scenarios and population surveys.
- COVID-19 information contains links to multiple organizations with the latest guidance on the virus.
- COVID-19 publications are additional reports published in response to the outbreak.
In addition, the Center offers a series of COVID-19 video updates on the current state of the Pandemic. The videos feature leading experts across Imperial College sharing scientific insights on the outbreak response, public health initiatives, epidemiological findings, and challenges in conducting analysis and forecasting. The topics include transmission, epidemic size, fatality ratios, interventions and undetected cases, modeling the outbreak, and social distancing strategies.
