Electromagnetic (EM) pulses are a short burst of electromagnetic energy originating from natural sources, such as sun spots or electrical storms, but are increasingly being delivered through man-made weapons. EMPs pose serious risks to electric systems and other critical infrastructure. This collection includes strategies for protecting the homeland from threats and countering the effects of EMP attacks.
