DHS Releases Fusion Center Strategy for 2022-2026

Fusion centers are an important asset to national security as they unite several law enforcement agencies to collaborate on information sharing and threat analysis dissemination to State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT), federal, and private sector partners. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released their Fusion Center Engagement and Information Sharing Strategy for 2022–2026.  The report outlines three goals of DHS to strengthen and support the National Network of Fusion Centers:

  1. Advancing Information Sharing
  2. Strengthening Collaboration and Partnerships
  3. Providing Programmatic Support and Guidance to Fusion Centers

The DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of these strategic goals.
