Cybersecurity Research grant goes to LSU

The National Science Foundation has awarded a $1.8 million dollar grant to Louisiana State University’s, Dr. Peter Chen for research in cybersecurity. Dr. Chen’s work focuses on “smart linkage”, the ability to coordinate databases and discover hidden data relationships. Law enforcement is looking at Dr. Chen’s research as an important step in developing effective information sharing methods to track down criminals and terrorists.
