In November 2021, Congress passed President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, establishing the largest-ever investment in American infrastructure. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will help deliver clean water to American families, repair and rebuild roads and bridges, and ensure every American has access to reliable internet, in addition to many other projects for improving our critical infrastructure.
The newly released Biden-Harris Action Plan for Accelerating Infrastructure was created to accelerate the progress of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. It describes the challenges of implementing such legislation, and outlines how the federal government will respond. The plan focuses on three areas, which represent the underlying theme of the entire document: Delivering Projects On Time, Delivering Projects On Task, and Delivering Projects On Budget.
