The Naval Postgraduate School’s Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) announced that they will be holding the annual Alumni Professional Exchange (APEX) Continuing Education Workshop in Monterey, California from Tuesday, February 20, 2024 to Thursday, February 22, 2024.

The goal of the APEX event is to advocate for knowledge and effective governance and provides alumni the opportunity to learn about and reflect on new and novel ideas in homeland security from different perspectives while visiting with classmates, networking with professionals from other cohorts, and collaborating with instructors.

Each year, CHDS alumni give “TED Talk” style short presentations on a broad range of critical issues in homeland security. Check out talks from previous APEX workshops here.

APEX attendance is open to alumni, current students, faculty, and staff of all CHDS academic programs. For those who attend the entire workshop, continuing education credits will be available. Click to register here.
