This report, titled "Terror Threat Snapshot, February 2017," is produced by the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, and gives a brief overview of "the persistent terror threat to the United States," while also discussing the rise of "Homegrown Islamist Extremism," "ISIS [Islamic State in Iraq and Syria] Terror Plots Against the West," and "The Campaign Against Islamist Terror." The report opens with several infographics related to the threat of terrorism in the United States, and then outlines a few highlights in the "Key Points" section, which is followed by the aforementioned three sections. The section titled, "The Campaign Against Islamist Terror" is broken into portions relating to ISIS, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Guantanamo Bay, and Iran's ballistic missile testing.
