This document is the transcript of the deposition of Michael Brown of FEMA before the Select Committee to Investigate the Preparation for and Response to Hurricane Katrina, February 11, 2006. The select committee met, pursuant to call, at 12 p.m., in Room 2154, Rayburn House Office Building, Hon. Tom Davis, chairman of the select committee, presiding. Those present include: Representatives Davis, Myrick, Miller, Melancon and Jefferson. Staff present include: Keith Ausbrook, Chief Counsel; David P. Rapallo, Minority Counsel. Also present: Andrew W. Lester, Esq., firm of Lester, Loving & Davies, on behalf of Michael Brown.
