9-11 Commission Seeks more Information
Citing lack of cooperation from the FAA and other agencies, the independent commission to investigate the September 11 attacks voted to subpeona records from the FAA, in particular, information pertaining to the exchange between the FAA and NORAD which had been omitted from initial offerings. The subpoena was approved in part to “put other agencies on notice”.
