November: Critical Infrastructure Security & Resilience Month

President Obama has declared November 2013 as "Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Month". As noted by the President in the recent Presidential Proclamation, which you can read here, "we must continue to strengthen our resilience to threats from all hazards including terrorism and natural disasters, as well as cyber attacks."

Strengthening resilience is a goal to which we can all contribute. Here are some ways you can learn more and get involved:

-Ready.gov provides great resources on disaster planning and management, and also has this section on Business Continuity.

-Check out the tips here from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including requesting a "Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Month" toolkit.

-Get involved via social media: Use #infrastructure or follow @DHSgov to share ideas, tips, questions, articles, and comments on infrastructure and resilience.
