Intelligence Community Policy Guidance Number 707.1: Center for Security Evaluation Construction Security Review Board (Effective 12 June 2008)
"This policy guidance establishes the authorities and responsibilities of the DNI [Director of National Intelligence] Construction Security Review Board (CSRB) as a forum between the Secretary of State and the DNI for review and concurrence of Department of State (DoS) Construction Security Plans (CSPs) and design documentation prior to implementation. The CSRB shall : (1) Serve as the formal mechanism to provide DNI construction security consultation and coordination to the Secretary of State for overseas diplomatic facilities. (2) Review CSPs and relevant design documentation for new construction and major renovations to existing, newly acquired, and newly leased diplomatic facilities where classified activities are conducted. (3) Validate that appropriate and adequate steps are taken to ensure the security of overseas construction projects at U .S. diplomatic facilities. (4) Validate that the diplomatic facility incorporates : a. Adequate measures for protecting classified information, including national intelligence and intelligence sources and methods, b. Adequate measures for protecting national security related activities, c. Adequate protection for the personnel working in the diplomatic facility, and d. A plan for the continued evaluation and maintenance of security at such facility. (5) Provide expert advice on issues referred by the Director, Center for Security Evaluation (D/CSE) involving design documentation and procedures affecting the security of U.S. diplomatic facilities abroad."

Intelligence Community Policy Guidance Number 501.2: Sensitive Review Board and Information Sharing Dispute Resolution Process (Effective 26 May 2009)
The purpose and applicability of this Policy Guidance is as follows: "(1) This Intelligence Community Policy Guidance (ICPG): a. Further defines the process called for in Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 501, Discovery and Dissemination or Retrieval of Information Within the Intelligence Community, to resolve disputes between authorized Intelligence Community (IC) personnel and stewards regarding the dissemination or retrieval of information discovered. b. Sets forth the implementing procedures for access to information by Sensitive Review Board (SRB) members as required by Section G.3c of ICD 501 ; and c. Delineates specific roles and responsibilities of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), IC element heads, and SRBs." Applicability: "(1) This guidance applies to the Intelligence Community (IC), as defined by the National Security Act of 1947, as amended; and such other elements of any other department or agency as may be designated by the President, or designated jointly by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and the head of the department or agency concerned, as an element of the IC. (2) This ICPG does not apply to purely law enforcement information . When law enforcement information also contains intelligence or intelligence-related information, this ICPG shall apply to the intelligence or intelligence-related information."

Intelligence Community Policy Guidance Number 501.1: Exemption of Information from Discovery (Effective 26 May 2009)
The purpose and applicability of this Policy Guidance is as follows: "This Intelligence Community Policy Guidance (ICPG) sets forth the implementing procedures for exemptions from discovery for information collected or analysis produced, as called for in Sections E.1.c and G.2.d of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 501, Discovery and Dissemination or Retrieval of Information within the Intelligence Community. (1) This guidance applies to the Intelligence Community (IC), as defined by the National Security Act of 1947, as amended ; and such other elements of any other department or agency as may be designated by the President, or designated jointly by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and the head of the department or agency concerned, as an element of the IC. (2) This ICPG does not apply to purely law enforcement information . When law enforcement information also contains intelligence or intelligence-related information, this ICPG shall apply to the intelligence or intelligence-related information."

Intelligence Community Policy Guidance Number 501.3: Subsequent Use of Information (Effective 20 May 2010)
This Intelligence Community Policy Guidance (ICPG) "addresses subsequent use, the proper handling and use of information collected or analysis produced that is received by authorized Intelligence Community personnel (AICP) to further a mission need ('received information'), pursuant to the provisions of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 501, Discovery and Dissemination or Retrieval of Information within the Intelligence Community. The definitions in Appendix A of ICD 501 apply to this Guidance."

Intelligence Community Policy Guidance Number 704.3: Denial or Revocation of Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information, Other Controlled Access Program Information, and Appeals Processes (Effective 02 October 2008)
This Intelligence Community Policy Guidance (ICGP) "applies to the Intelligence Community (IC), as defined by the National Security Act of 1947, as amended, and other departments or agencies that may be designated by the President, or designated jointly by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and the head of the department or agency concerned, as an element of the IC or those government entities designated to determine eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access." More specifically, "determinations regarding eligibility for initial or continued access shall be made in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704, Personnel Security Standards and Procedures Governing Eligibility for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and other Controlled Access Program Information. Subjects who have been considered for and denied initial or continued access to SCI and other controlled access programs pursuant to the provisions of ICD 704 shall, to the extent provided herein, be afforded an opportunity to appeal the denial or revocation of such access."

Intelligence Community Policy Guidance Number 704.5: Intelligence Community Personnel Security Database Scattered Castles (Effective 02 October 2008)
This Intelligence Community Policy Guidance (ICPG) "applies to the Intelligence Community (IC), as defined by the National Security Act of 1947, as amended, and other departments or agencies that may be designated by the President, or designated jointly by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and the head of the department or agency concerned, as an element of the IC or those government entities designated to determine eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access. Furthermore, this ICPG "mandates the recognition and use of the Scattered Castles (SC) database, or successor database, as the IC's authoritative personnel security repository for verifying personnel security access approvals regarding SCI and other controlled access programs, visit certifications, and documented exceptions to personnel security standards."

Intelligence Community Policy Guidance Number 105.1: Acquisition (Effective 12 July 2007)
"This Intelligence Community (IC) Policy Guidance (ICPG) applies to all acquisitions for which IC Directive (ICD) 05 is applicable and those 'joint programs' as defined in ICD 105 for which the memorandum of agreement (MOA) identifies this ICPG, as applicable. This document implements ICD 105 and provides guidance on management, processes and plans, program reviews and assessments, and workforce development for acquisitions. Intelligence Community Directive Number 304: Human Intelligence (Effective 6 March 3008; Amended 9 July 2009)
This directive was amended in 2009; however, the contents of the document are essentially unchanged. " (1) This Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) addresses clandestine and overt human intelligence (HUMINT) collection obtained both inside and outside the United States and establishes the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) policy to integrate, prioritize, and maximize the Intelligence Community's (IC) HUMINT capabilities; to ensure coordination and deconfliction of HUMINT and counterintelligence operations and activities across the U.S. Government (USG); to promote the use of core common standards for those who engage in HUMINT activities; and to enable greater collaboration across the USG to share services of common concern whenever feasible. (2) This Directive delineates the roles and responsibilities of the DNI, the National HUMINT Manager (NHM), and those principal agencies or departments that conduct HUMINT activities. (3) This Directive rescinds portions of Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 5/1, Espionage and Counterintelligence Activities Abroad, 19 December 1984; and rescinds DCID 3/2, Coordination of Overt Collection Abroad, 26 November 2001."

Intelligence Community Policy Guidance Number 704.1: Personnel Security Investigative Standards and Procedures Governing Eligibility for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Other Controlled Access Program Information (Effective 02 October 2008)
This Intelligence Community Policy Guidance (ICPG) "applies to the Intelligence Community (IC), as defined by the National Security Act of 1947, as amended; and other departments or agencies that may be designated by the President, or designated jointly by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and the head of the department or agency concerned, as an element of the IC or those government entities designated to determine eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and other Controlled Access Program information." More specifically, "the following investigative standards shall be used as the basis for conducting: National Agency Check with Local Agency Checks and Credit Check (NACLC); Single Scope Background Investigations (SSBI), to include access to SCI and other Controlled Access Programs, described herein, and periodic reinvestigations (PR). NACLCs, SSBIs, and PRs shall be conducted in a comprehensive manner to collect and develop complete information, both favorable and unfavorable, from applicable sources. Sources may include federal and commercial databases, other data repositories, and knowledgeable individuals. Investigations shall employ the 'whole person concept' and shall be the basis for evaluating individual backgrounds and granting initial or continued access to classified national intelligence."

Intelligence Community Directive Number 101: Intelligence Community Policy System (Effective 16 January 2009; Amended 12 June 2009)
This Intelligence Community Directive, amended on 12 June 2009, is to "effectively and efficiently promulgate Intelligence Community (IC) policy, this Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) establishes the IC Policy System which is comprised of a hierarchy of policy documents; processes for the development, coordination and evaluation of policy; and a governance structure to advise the Director of Intelligence (DNI) or the DNI's designees regarding policy issues. This ICD also delegates decision authority for the promulgation of certain policies, and delineates the roles and responsibilities of the Office of the DNI (ODNI), IC elements, and Functional Managers, as designated by EO 12333 or the DNI, in the implementation of the IC Policy System. This ICD rescinds Intelligence Community Policy Memorandum 2006-100-1, 'The Intelligence Community Policy Process' and supersedes all previous policies, memoranda, or portions thereof, regarding the IC policy process."
