From the Executive Summary: "On June 6, 2001, an exercise was conducted in the 10-mile Plume Exposure Pathway, emergency planning zone (EPZ) around the Robert E. Ginna Nuclear Power Station by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region II. The purpose of the exercise was to assess the level of State and local preparedness in responding to a radiological emergency. This exercise was held in accordance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA's) policies and guidance concerning the exercise of State and local radiological emergency response plans (RERPs) and procedures. The most recent full-scale exercise at this site was conducted on November 17, 1999. The qualifying emergency preparedness exercise was conducted on January 21, 1982."
