This is the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Cost Estimate as ordered reported by the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation on June 16, 2021. From the Document: "S. 1890 would require the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to study and report to the Congress on scams targeting travelers during the COVID-19 [coronavirus disease 2019] pandemic and to update its website to include information on avoiding those scams. Using information from the FTC, CBO estimates that it would cost the agency less than $500,000 to complete the required study; any spending would be subject to the availability of appropriated funds."
