From the Executive Summary: "On July 20, 2010, a full-scale plume exercise was conducted in the 10-mile plume exposure pathway, Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) around the North Anna Power Station (NAPS) by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region III. Out-of-sequence demonstrations were conducted on June 7-10, 2010. The purpose of the exercise and the out-of-sequence demonstrations was to assess the level of State and local preparedness in responding to a radiological emergency. The exercise and out-of-sequence demonstrations were held in accordance with FEMA's policies and guidance concerning the exercise of State and local radiological emergency response plans (RERP) and procedures."
