From the Executive Summary: "On October 25, 2000, an exercise was conducted in the plume exposure pathway emergency planning zone (EPZ) around the Enrico Fermi 2 Nuclear Power Plant by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region V. The purpose of the exercise was to assess the level of State and local preparedness in responding to a radiological emergency. This exercise was held in accordance with FEMA's policies and guidance concerning the exercise of State and local radiological emergency response plans and procedures. The most recent exercise at this site was conducted on June 9, 1998. [...] The State and local organizations demonstrated knowledge of their emergency response plans and procedures and adequately implemented them. No Deficiencies or Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) were identified as a result of this exercise."
