Kadlec Medical Center MS-1 Drill Report: Washington Nuclear Plant No. 2 (WNP-2) [April 29, 1999]   [open pdf - 2MB]

From the Executive Summary: "This drill was conducted on April 29, 1999, to demonstrate the capability of the Kadlec Medical Center and the Richland Fire and Emergency Services to respond to a radiological incident at Washington Nuclear Plant No. 2 (WNP-2). This was the third Kadlec Medical Center drill in the third 6-year exercise cycle for WNP-2. Previous MS-1 Drills (Medical Services) were conducted with these organizations on September 11, 1997; April 27, 1995; June 30, 1993; August 19, 1991; and May 17, 1989. [...] Richland Fire and Emergency Services and Kadlec Medical Center demonstrated knowledge of their emergency response plans and procedures and adequately implemented them in the MS-1 Drill on April 29, 1999. There were no previous Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) to be demonstrated and no new ARCAs or Drill Deficiencies were identified as a result of this drill."
