From the Executive Summary: "As the global impact of COVID-19 [coronavirus disease 2019] manifested itself in the US in the middle of March, ESG [Enterprise Strategy Group] and ISSA [Information Systems Security Association] decided to conduct an in-depth survey in April 2020 of 364 cybersecurity and IT [information technology] professionals from the global ISSA [hyperlink] member list. The study was a point in time assessment of challenges posed by the pandemic. It is likely that challenges and solutions will continue to evolve over the next few years. Based upon the data gathered as part of this project, the report highlights the following: [1] 'Organizations were fairly prepared for the global pandemic.'
