This is the April 4, 2019 hearing on "Mismanaged Military Family Housing Programs: What is the Recovery Plan?" held before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Readiness of the Committee on Armed Services. From the opening statement of John Garamendi: "In February, this committee heard from a panel of very courageous military spouses who told us of the unhealthy and unsanitary living conditions that they were experiencing in the privatized military housing and the continuing impacts these conditions have on the health of their families. [...] We heard from them, we held a committee hearing, and we are here today to hear what the United States military is doing to support the families and the services that they provide to this country."
