From the Document: "The Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General initiated a review of the response to Hurricane Irma. The objective was to assess the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) and the State of Florida's response and recovery activities as a result of the major disaster declaration. During our review, we identified debris removal contract performance issues and concerns. This report discusses observations regarding the use of pre-disaster debris removal contracts in Florida following Hurricane Irma."
