From the Introduction: "The South Dakota Department of Health (SDDOH) will protect South Dakota citizens during the COVID-19 [coronavirus disease 2019] Pandemic by providing opportunities for COVID-19 vaccination. The state will work to ensure that hospitals, long-term care facilities, tribes, and the general public have access to the COVID-19 vaccine upon availability. The COVID-19 Interim Mass Vaccination Plan provides a framework for the State of South Dakota (SD) in collaboration with stakeholders to serve the vaccination needs of South Dakotans. The plan defines a phased approach to vaccination planning and distribution, and outlines how the state will provide vaccination services according to priorities outlined by the ACIP [Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices]."
