From the Key Updates: "Nationally, indicators that track COVID-19 [coronavirus disease 2019] activity continued to decline or remain stable (change of ≤0.1%); however, two regions reported a slight increase in the percentage of specimens testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 [severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2], the virus causing COVID-19, and four regions reported a slight increase in the percent of visits for influenza-like illness (ILI) to outpatient providers or emergency departments (EDs). Mortality attributed to COVID-19 declined but remains above the epidemic threshold."
