From the Background: "[1] This document highlights practices from across the country that can supplement the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Interim Guidance for Homeless Service Providers to Plan and Respond to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) . Additional information can be found in the CDC Interim Guidance on Unsheltered Homelessness and Coronavirus Disaster 2019 (COVID-19) for Homeless Service Providers and Local Officials. [2] People experiencing homelessness including people living on the streets and people in temporary facilities, are at risk for infection where there is a community spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. [3] The following is a list of key findings and considerations for jurisdictions and communities regarding ongoing coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic operations across the country. These are best practices for consideration and do not constitute and should not be considered as guidance in any way."
