From the Article: "Watching the news, it is easy to think that the COVID-19 [coronavirus disease 2019] pandemic will sink globalization. The number of cargo ships setting off for the United States declined by 10% in March compared to the previous year, the seventh consecutive month of declines. The cost of shipping goods by air has almost doubled, further restricting trade. The flow of people has plummeted, too, with many countries restricting foreign visitors due to the virus. News that President Donald Trump is suspending immigration into the U.S. might seem like the final blow to an entire era of globalization."
