From the Document: "'Medical Surveillance Monthly Report (MSMR)', in continuous publication since 1995, is produced by the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Branch (AFHSB). AFHSB is a designated public health authority within the Defense Health Agency. The 'MSMR' provides evidence-based estimates of the incidence, distribution, impact, and trends of illness and injuries among U.S. military members and associated populations. Most reports in the 'MSMR' are based on summaries of medical administrative data that are routinely provided to the AFHSB and integrated into the Defense Medical Surveillance System for health surveillance purposes." This edition of MSMR includes the following articles: "Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, Active and Reserve Component Service Members and Non-Service Member Beneficiaries of the Military Health System, U.S. Armed Forces, July 2009-June 2019" by Valerie F. Williams, Alyssa Fedgo, and Shauna Stahlman; "Respiratory Pathogen Surveillance Trends and Influenza Vaccine Effectiveness Estimates for the 2018-2019 Season Among Department of Defense Beneficiaries" by Geeta D. Kersellius, William E. Gruner, Anthony C. Fries, Laurie S. DeMarcus, and Anthony S. Robbins; and "Incidence and Prevalence of Idiopathic Corneal Ectasias, Active Component, 2001-2018" by Mark E. Reynolds, Andrew S. Morgenstern, Rita K. Mallia, Saixia Ying, and Shauna Stahlman.
