This is the July 18, 1996 hearing on "Concessions Management" in the National Parks, held before the U.S. House Committee on Resources. From the opening statement of James V. Hansen: "It was almost exactly 1 year ago today many of us sat in this same room debating the merits of several concession reform bills which were before this subcommittee. [...] Unfortunately, the administration refused to negotiate with us. [...] However, concessions management remains an important topic, and today we turn the committee's attention to the existing program. We find several things of great concern. First of all is the fact that again we find the National Park Service can't account for all of its money." Statements, letters, and materials submitted for the record include those of the following: Robert L. Andrews, Bill Chandler, Henry Diamond, Dean W. Fischer, Cliff Fowler, Roger Kennedy, Victor S. Rezendes, Ned Woodward, and Robert K. Yearout.
