"The FY [Fiscal Year] 2005 DHS Appropriations Act (P.L. 108-334) requires the TSA [Transportation Security Administration] Administrator to report to Congress annually on the collection of unclaimed money at airports and the expenditure of those funds. This report provides the amount of unclaimed money recovered from each airport and the total amount recovered during FY 2016, and describes how unclaimed money is being used for civil aviation security."
