"Information technology (IT) is a critical asset to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) mission operations. We conducted this audit to assess the effectiveness of IT systems to support the accomplishment of CBP's border security objective of preventing the entry of inadmissible aliens who may pose threats to national security. [...] We made seven recommendations to address CBP's passenger screening and border security IT systems and infrastructure challenges."
