This testimony compilation made by the HSDL staff is from the March 16, 2017 hearing, "Building a 21st Century Infrastructure for America: The National Preparedness System," before the United States House of Representatives Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management, of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. The purpose of this hearing was to, "look at the resources and investments that have gone into building the National Preparedness System, which was authorized 10 years ago in the Post Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act."
