"Objective: The project investigates the interplay between new Russian warfare techniques and emerging counter-strategies of frontline Central and Eastern European (CEE) states in order to fulfill two objectives: (1) to organize and disseminate expert assessments of under-studied CEE security dynamics in the context of the emerging Russian threat in the region and explain what it means for regional and global strategic security; and (2) to stimulate public awareness and understanding of the implications of the erosion of U.S. extended deterrence and how emerging CEE deterrence strategies could counter new threats and support extended deterrence."
