ABSTRACT
Illinois Pandemic Influenza Preparedness and Response Plan [open pdf - 737KB]
The intent of this plan is to provide the framework for how the state of Illinois would prevent or mitigate the effects of an influenza pandemic should the new strain of the virus which has been found in birds in Asia begin infecting humans here. The plan is intended to be implemented within a unified command structure with representation from local, state and federal responders.
