The letter addresses the Intelligence Community's collection programs under Title [7] of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). A classified document enclosed with the letter is described to provide "an overview of all the expiring provisions of FISA." The letter goes on to request that Section 702 within Title [7] be reauthorized by Congress, and that the classified document be provided to all Members of Congress eligible to receive the Top Secret information, as the letter's authors intended "to provide the same document to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence under similar conditions."
