From the opening statement of John L. Mica: "This morning we are conducting an oversight and investigations hearing, and it is relating to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. And, in particular, we will be discussing the results of a report by the inspector general relating to some of the Authority's weak policies, procedures that have led to questionable procurement practices, mismanagement, and a lack of overall accountability, according to the title of the report, which was issued November 1, 2012."
