Today, President Obama called Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan to discuss the developments in Syria and Egypt. Both leaders expressed a grave concern regarding foreign extremism in Syria and the need to support the opposition. Furthermore, Obama and Erdogan agreed to continue working closely to support democratic progress in Egypt.
