From the Summary: "The Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA), 49 U.S.C. [United States Code] §41705, prohibits discrimination by air carriers against individuals with disabilities. Recent public attention regarding an airplane passenger who traveled while infected with Extensively Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (XDR-TB) raises timely questions regarding the ACAA's requirements and guarantees. This report briefly discusses the ACAA's statutory provisions, accompanying regulations, relevant judicial opinions, and legislation in the 110th Congress."
