The third section of the report discusses agency-related issues for Congress. The report concludes with a summary of legislation introduced in the 112th Congress related to export promotion. While this report focuses on the role of the federal government in promoting exports, it is important to acknowledge that state and local governments, as well as businesses, have an important role in promoting exports."
