President Obama Signs Ohio Disaster Declaration [July 13, 2011]   [open pdf - 9KB]

On July 13, 2011, President Obama declared a federal disaster situation in the State of Ohio due to severe storms and flooding during the period of April 4 to May 15, 2011. Federal funding is available to eligible Local government entities in the affected counties. Statewide federal funding is also available for the implementation of hazard mitigation measures. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will make additional funds available based upon requests made by the State and further damage assessments.
