In his June 13, 2011 remarks, President Barack Obama addresses the Jobs and Competitiveness Council in regards to creating jobs and job security in the current economy. Obama states that having a smart regulatory structure can actually enhance market competitiveness. The Obama administration and the Jobs and Competitiveness Council have agreed upon joining in a cooperative 12 to 18 month program to support this agenda.
