From the Hearing Charter: This hearing is "to examine the impact federal investment has had on promoting innovation in information technology and fostering a variety of sophisticated applications that infuse information technology into areas such as education, scientific research, and delivery of public services. The hearing will also examine the limits of current technology and highlight research questions and technological applications that require additional investment."
