ABSTRACT

Indiana Drug Threat Assessment Update   [open pdf - 1MB]

"Indiana serves as an active drug transportation and distribution area. Its proximity to Chicago and extensive transportation infrastructure are conducive to all levels of drug trafficking. Mexican criminal groups, street gangs, and local independent dealers transport and distribute cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and heroin in Indiana, supplying drug markets within and outside the state. Cocaine is the most significant drug threat to Indiana."
