The Erie County Response Readiness Emergency Preparedness Team was established in September, 2001. Its mission is to design and implement plans for training, equipping and positioning the Country's emergency responders, as well as the citizens of Erie County and surrounding areas, for an effective response to natural or man-made disasters. This document outlines the initiative with regard to public health, emergency services, and infrastructure protection.
