Neoliberalism in a Conflict State: The Viability of Economic Shock Therapy in Iraq [open pdf - 100KB]
This article examines the evolution of neoliberalism in Iraq since the summer of 2003. It attempts to identify the aspects of the neoliberal agenda that were introduced into the country, as well as their strengths and limitations. Based on this assessment, the author draws several conclusions concerning the applicability of the neoliberal reforms in the Iraqi context.
