"On Tuesday, May 5, 2009 the Subcommittee on Energy and Environment of the Committee on Science and Technology will hold a hearing on Expanding Climate Services at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA): Developing the National Climate Service. The purpose of the hearing is to hear expert testimony on options for expanding the delivery of climate services by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The hearing will also explore the role of other federal agencies in building a national infrastructure to deliver climate information to support the development of national, regional and local strategies to adapt to climate variability and change."
