"In Mid-Fiscal Year (FY) 2008, the total domestic value of CBP and ICE's IPR seizures, $113,245,922, increased by 3 percent from Mid-FY 2007. Among these seizures, CBP and ICE seized over $24 million in IPR-infringing products that could have posed safety and national security risks. China was the top source country for IPR seizures of infringing products in Mid-FY 2008, accounting for 85% of the total domestic value seized. Footwear was the top commodity seized, accounting for 36% of the total domestic value."
